"CONSPIRACY THEORISTS" IN ISLAM

Over the last few months, I've noticed a very surprising and disappointing trend.  You present evidence for something, including recordings of people in charge saying unbelievable things, and as a result - you get attacked by FELLOW MUSLIMS (of all people)!

So, I thought it's worthwhile to look at this from the perspective we all agree on: That the Quran is our Guidance!

What does the Quran say about conspiring?
Is it something completely unbelievable?
Or is it something we see often in the Quran?

I think any Muslim with any knowledge of the Quran, who reflects about that, would know that the answer is the latter!

So then...  Why is it so hard for Muslims to believe that there is SO MUCH corruption and conspiring in this world, when our Lord said it? (It's part of our tests here on Earth.)  Are the below verses not true?????

وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا فِي كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ أَكَابِرَ مُجْرِمِيهَا لِيَمْكُرُوا فِيهَا ۖ وَمَا يَمْكُرُونَ إِلَّا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ - 6:123
[6:123] Thus We let the >>worst criminals<< of >>every town<< scheme therein, but they only scheme against themselves and they do not realise it.

وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا بَلْ مَكْرُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ إِذْ تَأْمُرُونَنَا أَن نَّكْفُرَ بِاللَّهِ وَنَجْعَلَ لَهُ أَندَادًا ۚ وَأَسَرُّوا النَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ وَجَعَلْنَا الْأَغْلَالَ فِي أَعْنَاقِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۚ هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ - 34:33
[34:33] And those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "Rather, it was the >>scheming by night and by day<<, when you commanded us to reject God and to set up equals to Him." They hid their remorse when they saw the punishment, and We placed the shackles around the necks of those who disbelieved. Are they being repaid except for what they used to do?

وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا فَقَالَ الضُّعَفَاءُ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا مِنْ عَذَابِ اللَّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ ۚ قَالُوا لَوْ هَدَانَا اللَّهُ لَهَدَيْنَاكُمْ ۖ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْنَا أَجَزِعْنَا أَمْ صَبَرْنَا مَا لَنَا مِن مَّحِيصٍ - 14:21
وَقَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ لَمَّا قُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَعَدَكُمْ وَعْدَ الْحَقِّ وَوَعَدتُّكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُكُمْ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِيَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ إِلَّا أَن دَعَوْتُكُمْ فَاسْتَجَبْتُمْ لِي ۖ فَلَا تَلُومُونِي وَلُومُوا أَنفُسَكُم ۖ مَّا أَنَا بِمُصْرِخِكُمْ وَمَا أَنتُم بِمُصْرِخِيَّ ۖ إِنِّي كَفَرْتُ بِمَا أَشْرَكْتُمُونِ مِن قَبْلُ ۗ إِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ - 14:22
[14:21] They were all brought forward before God, so the weak ones said to those who were arrogant, "We were your followers, so can you help us in any way against God's punishment?" They said, "Had God guided us, we would have guided you. Whether we show intolerance or be patient, there is no escape for us."
[14:22] And the devil said, when the matter was settled, "God has promised you the truthful promise, and I promised you, but I failed you. I had no authority over you other than that I have invited you, and you responded to me. Therefore, do not blame me, but blame yourselves. I cannot help you, nor can you help me. I have rejected that you have set me up as a partner before." The transgressors shall have a painful punishment.

وَقَدْ مَكَرُوا مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِندَ اللَّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِن كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ الْجِبَالُ - 14:46
[14:46] They schemed their schemes, but God had the measure of their schemes, even if their schemes were such as to >>remove mountains<<.

ظَهَرَ الْفَسَادُ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِي النَّاسِ لِيُذِيقَهُم بَعْضَ الَّذِي عَمِلُوا لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ - 30:41
>>Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea<< by what the hands of people have earned so He may let them taste part of what they have done that perhaps they will return.

أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَا بَنِي آدَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا الشَّيْطَانَ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ - 36:60
وَأَنِ اعْبُدُونِي ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ - 36:61
وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِيرًا ۖ أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا تَعْقِلُونَ - 36:62
هَٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ - 36:63
اصْلَوْهَا الْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ - 36:64
[36:60] Did I not take an oath from you, O Children of Adam, that you shall not worship the devil, for he is a clear enemy to you,
[36:61] and that you shall worship Me, for that is a straight path?
[36:62] He has misled great multitudes of you, so were you not able to reason?
[36:63] This is the Hell that you were promised.
[36:64] Roast in it today for what you used to deny."

etc etc etc etc etc...

Do you think that those conspiring against the Quran were operating in a vacuum? Just with other religious leaders, but not with leaders of the different societies? In that case, why does The God talk about the worst criminals being in EVERY TOWN?

Are you not part of EVERY TOWN?

Is every town being run by religious figures? Or by politicians? Who do you think is paying all these religious leaders around the world? Did Satan not say he is coming from nearly every direction?

Do you believe that leaders of every society are pious Muslims? If that's the case, why on Judgement Day will the CHILDREN OF ADAM (a lottttttt of people) find out that they've been worshipping Satan)??

It is a TOP-DOWN approach that Satan has taken. Control the religious leaders, and also control the society leaders who pay the religious leaders, and all of them divert and abuse the people in every way possible!

Were leaders of society like Pharoah righteous?

And hence you have the topic of exodus / migration, which we see Prophets have gone through in the Quran - with all the believers. But unfortunately, some Muslims are using the term "conspiracy theory" to attack other Muslims who present evidence for a matter. Whereas in the Quran, we only see this mocking behaviour in this world being done by disbelievers. So... rejoice!

As Muslims, we should be looking into facts sincerely when they are presented to us.  Even - in the worst-case scenario - if we believe they are coming from a TOTALLY CORRUPT person:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن جَاءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌ بِنَبَإٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوا أَن تُصِيبُوا قَوْمًا بِجَهَالَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَادِمِينَ - 49:6
O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful.

And if you disagree with the facts presented...  Perhaps laughing at the person is not a righteous solution.  In the Quran, we find that the ones initiating the laughter in this world are only the disbelievers, i.e:

أَن تَقُولَ نَفْسٌ يَا حَسْرَتَا عَلَىٰ مَا فَرَّطتُ فِي جَنبِ اللَّهِ وَإِن كُنتُ لَمِنَ السَّاخِرِينَ - 39:56
Lest a soul should say, "Oh [how great is] my regret over what I neglected in regard to Allah and that I was among the mockers."

...and the ones ending it in the afterlife are the believers!  Beware though, as the roles are reversed in the hereafter:

وَيَصْنَعُ الْفُلْكَ وَكُلَّمَا مَرَّ عَلَيْهِ مَلَأٌ مِّن قَوْمِهِ سَخِرُوا مِنْهُ ۚ قَالَ إِن تَسْخَرُوا مِنَّا فَإِنَّا نَسْخَرُ مِنكُمْ كَمَا تَسْخَرُونَ - 11:38
And he constructed the ship, and whenever an assembly of the eminent of his people passed by him, they ridiculed him. He said, "If you ridicule us, then we will ridicule you just as you ridicule.
فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ مَن يَأْتِيهِ عَذَابٌ يُخْزِيهِ وَيَحِلُّ عَلَيْهِ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيمٌ - 11:39
And you are going to know who will get a punishment that will disgrace him and upon whom will descend an enduring punishment."

إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِي يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ - 23:109
Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.'
فَاتَّخَذْتُمُوهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا حَتَّىٰ أَنسَوْكُمْ ذِكْرِي وَكُنتُم مِّنْهُمْ تَضْحَكُونَ - 23:110
But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them.
إِنِّي جَزَيْتُهُمُ الْيَوْمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ - 23:111
Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]."

So, my sincere advice to my brothers and sisters is to always look at the facts with a critical mind, find the truth, be on the side of the truth (instead of being with the oppressors), and advise upon it, in pursuit of success:

الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَمْ يَلْبِسُوا إِيمَانَهُم بِظُلْمٍ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمُ الْأَمْنُ وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ - 6:82
They who believe and do not mix their belief with injustice - those will have security, and they are [rightly] guided.

وَابْتَغِ فِيمَا آتَاكَ اللَّهُ الدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ ۖ وَلَا تَنسَ نَصِيبَكَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَأَحْسِن كَمَا أَحْسَنَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ ۖ وَلَا تَبْغِ الْفَسَادَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ - 28:77
But seek, through that which Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and [yet], do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allah has done good to you. And desire not corruption in the land. >>Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters.<<"

وَالْعَصْرِ - 103:1
إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ - 103:2
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ - 103:3
[103:1] By the time:
[103:2] the human being is indeed in loss,
[103:3] except those who believed and did good deeds, and >>advised one another to uphold the truth<<, and advised one another to exercise patience.

So, to conclude, when we ridicule people (who are presenting a piece of information) and call them with labels like "Conspiracy Theorist"...  Who are we copying?

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ - 49:10
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا يَسْخَرْ قَوْمٌ مِّن قَوْمٍ عَسَىٰ أَن يَكُونُوا خَيْرًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا نِسَاءٌ مِّن نِّسَاءٍ عَسَىٰ أَن يَكُنَّ خَيْرًا مِّنْهُنَّ ۖ وَلَا تَلْمِزُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا بِالْأَلْقَابِ ۖ بِئْسَ الِاسْمُ الْفُسُوقُ بَعْدَ الْإِيمَانِ ۚ وَمَن لَّمْ يَتُبْ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ - 49:11
[49:10] The believers are but brethren, so reconcile between your brethren, and reverence God so that you may attain mercy.
[49:11] O you who believe, no people shall ridicule other people, for they may be better than them. Nor shall some women ridicule other women, for they may be better than them. And do not insult one another or call each other names. How evil it is to acquire a name for wickedness after attaining faith! Those who do not repent, they are indeed the transgressors.

وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ذَرُونِي أَقْتُلْ مُوسَىٰ وَلْيَدْعُ رَبَّهُ ۖ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَن يُبَدِّلَ دِينَكُمْ أَوْ أَن يُظْهِرَ فِي الْأَرْضِ الْفَسَادَ - 40:26
And Pharaoh said, "Let me kill Moses and let him call upon his Lord. Indeed, I fear that he will change your religion or >>that he will cause corruption in the land.<<"

So, as we see above, we should not resort to name calling.  And evil politicians (like Pharoah) resorted to malicious labeling when the people were called to a factual matter.  The corrupt person was accusing the non-corrupt person of corruption!  This kind of character assassination we see in the Quran by EVIL PEOPLE like Pharoah.  So, when you are doing such CHARACTER ASSASSINATION, think to yourself:

Who am I copying?
