A fatwā (Arabic: فتوىٰ; plural fatāwā فتاوىٰ) is a Islamic law (sharia):-
.
1- All man made fatwa's are unlawful (6:114)
2- All who issue fatwa's are intruding on the exclusive right of God as being the only law giver, and thus they are committing a great sin.
3- All who follow such fatwa's are committing shirk (associating others with God). This is because they have set up their Imams (or their source of fatwa) as a partner with God as a lawmaker:
.
Or do they have 'shuraka'a' (partners) who legislate for them of the religion what God did not authorize. If it were not for a decisive Word, judgement would have already been passed over them. Indeed, the transgressors have have a painful punishment. 42:21

READ. Never doubt that Quran is complete and fully detailed.
Do you know now -
1. What is Sharia?
2. What is the source of Sharia?
3. What is not Sharia?
45:18
Then We put you on an ORDAINED WAY (sharīʿatin) of the matter; so follow it and (do) not follow (the) desires (of) those who (do) not know.
42:13
He has ORDAINED (sharaʿa) for you of the religion what He enjoined upon Nuh, and that WHICH WE HAVE REVEALED to you, and what We enjoined upon Ibrahim and Musa and Isa. TO ESTABLISH THE RELIGION and NOT BE DIVIDED THEREIN. Is difficult on the polytheists what you call them to it. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills, and guides to Himself whoever turns.
42:21
OR FOR THEM (are) PARTNERS WHO HAVE ORDAINED (sharaʿū) FOR THEM OF THE RELIGION WHAT NOT ALLAH HAS GIVEN PERMISSION OF And if not (for) a word decisive, surely, it (would have) been j between them. And indeed, the wrongdoers, for them (is a) punishment painful.
5:48
And WE REVEALED TO YOU THE BOOK IN [the] TRUTH, confirming what (was) before it of the Book and A GUARDIAN OVER IT. So judge between them by WHAT ALLAH HAS REVEALED and (do) NOT FOLLOW THEIR VAIN DESIRES when has come to you of the truth. For each We have made for you A LAW (shir'ʿatan) and a clear way. And if Allah (had) willed He (would have) made you one community [and] but to test you in what He (has) given you, so race (to) the good. To Allah you will all return, then He will inform you of what you were concerning it differing.
